easy joe is a pro poker player
and a house player at the commerce casino. that means he gets an hourly
wage to sit at the tables and play poker all day. the money he wins
or loses is his own, but at least he can count on the hourly rate.
his job is basically to drum up excitement at the tables, make sure
everyone's betting, and to act as a liason between the gambler and
the house, should any disagreement arise. "easy joe" is
an appropriate nickname for this guy - he takes it easy. nothing much
seems to faze him, and he just kinda goes with the flow. though, as
he put it, he used to be called "easy money", but then his
ex-wife took all his money, so now it's just "easy joe". |
