dave campbell was a coroner's
investigator for the better part of 25 years. during that time he
had the suicide beat, which is a particularly tough one. make no mistake,
this is not an easy place to work. this was my second time up there
on the service floor, and after the first one, really, i never needed
to go back. believe me, it's a place you want to avoid at all costs,
but i'm glad somebody's taking care of things over there. dave is
recently retired from the coroner's office, and says, very simply
"i'm tired of the bodies." thanks to ethan for helping out,
even though he now describes it as one of the worst experiences of
his life. i hate to say i told you so. i really do |
