john inglis runs the cold spring harbor laboratory press, and i know he's good people for at least two (although there are more) reasons: 1) he's publishing my book, my heart vs. the real world (available now from CSHL press!) and 2) when i showed up at his house he was busy trying to save his elderly neighbor who had fallen in her kitchen and couldn't get up. he and his wife were just about to bust open a window when they managed to get in more peacefully to help her. given these obviously noble traits, you owe it to yourself to go visit the press website and buy a lot of their books. this will make me look good, and teach you about genetics. it's win-win here, people.
