i took this picture of grisha
right afer george bush had just passed another of his stem cell laws,
and grisha confirmed that it was just a horrible thing to happen to
science. he also echoed the sentiments of a great many researchers
i'd met, saying that it's just amazing how much time they have to
spend chasing down funding, rather than actually doing the research
they'd like to do. just think about how much we might be able to accomplish
and discover if these smart people could actually DO science instead
of grant writing. |
