eddie sotelo is el piolin (the
tweetybird), one of the most popular spanish DJs in california, who
routinely got better ratings than howard stern. piolin was also instrumental
in fueling the recent protests against the proposed immigration bill
that would criminalize undocumented workers. he urged people to get
involved, interviewed key players, including one of the "minutemen"
who told him he should be deported. being a talk radio junkie i always
find it interesting to be in radio stations, even if i can't understand
what's being said. and eddie was the most gracious subject i've had
in a long time. didn't even once complain about his hair, and seemed
excited to be involved. |
