i want carrie fisher's dog, dolly. just adorable. ethan wants carrie fisher's house. i'm far more realistic - that is, i realize i have a much greater chance of obtaining a lovable border terrier than i do of a multi-million dollar home in beverly hills. don't get me wrong; i'd take the house, i guess i'm just not the kind of person who gets excited about things that obviously aren't going to happen. anyhow, photographing carrie fisher was a very strange experience. she was a combination of oddly unresponsive and yet totally cooperative that i've never quite encountered before. and she has a collection of strange animal paintings that make me feel better about all my time spent looking up 'folk art' on ebay.
