| i don't care what
anybody says, john darnielle is the mountain goats. and
if you don't know about the mountain goats, i feel sorry
for you. john and i went to college together and he is
one of the most consistently brilliant songwriters i know
(and i know a lot of brilliant people), as well as being
one hell of a great guy. he's also one of the only people
i know who genuinely gets excited about the seasons, even
in southern california. this is the first time i got to
take john's picture properly, and i hope he didn't find
the whole thing too distasteful. thanks, john. |
