max s. gerber(the latest shot)

there are a lot of updates to get to but so far i’ve been patiently waiting on the press dates to pass before attending to them. in any event, here’s a little out-take to tide all three of you over. the three of you who are paying attention.

this is from late april, and is paul’s first time setting up the Inside/Out environmental studio, paul’s first time taping paper up on the wall. ethan’s done it once, which prompted the (very astute) observation: “this is a real pain in the ass.” paul was nice enough to set up the backdrop while i took the subject to shoot in another location. paul got a bit carried away with the tape. this stuff ain’t cheap, but at least it’s not going to fly away. and yes, this is set up on the side of a barn. 

anyway, corporal bennett looks so pleased with himself because he was suffering the effects of a bad machaca burrito the day before. still, i have to hand it to the guy: he shows up and gets the shit done, even when being attacked by parasites. everybody should hire ex-marines as assistants. thanks, paul. i appreciate the effort. next time stick with the carnitas.
