the chinese daily news, also known
as the world journal, is the largest chinese language newspaper in
america. it's printed right here in los angeles, and has branches
in cities around the country, and in canada. at a time when major
english language newspapers are facing huge declines in circulation
and job cuts, papers like the chinese daily news seem to be flourishing.
it did take some convincing to get mr. guo to sit on the ladder of
the printing press. in retrospect, it probably wasn't the cleanest
spot in the place on which to sit. but hey, the picture works better
that way. |
